  2. Introduction to microscope and micrometry
  3. Study of bacterial morphology.
  4. Differential staining (Grams staining)
  5. Negative staining.
  6. Endospore staining.
  7. Media preparation: Simple and Complex.
  8. Pure culture techniques- isolation of microorganisms by streak plate spread plate and pour plate method.
  9. Study of growth of bacteria using colorimeter.
