Upon completion of the course the learner will: CO 59: Learn the basics of Genetic Engineering and study different cloning and expression vectors which will help to build their concrete concepts about the subject. CO 60: Apply enzymes used in Genetic Engineering in the procedures involved in isolation of genomic and nuclear DNA. CO 61: Use tools and techniques of the PCR, hybridization, DNA sequencing procedures for creating new and improving existing issues in the field of medicine. CO 62: Apply tools and techniques for the production of therapeutic proteins; solve cases by genetic counselling and vaccine development. CO 63: Apply their knowledge for improving and developing various crop varieties in the field of agriculture. CO 64: Solve issues related to Forensic science, improvement of existing industrial processes and contribute to society as a whole. |
