Objective: 

This will enable students to apply techniques and tools for Bioreactors and fermentation processes, Industrial application of microbes and Gene manipulation both at Industrial and research levels.

  1. Isolation of industrially important microorganisms
    1. amylase producing microorganism
    2. lipase producing microorganism
  2. Isolation of antibiotic producing microorganism from soil
  3. Production of alcohol.
  4. Citric Acid fermentation
  5. Mushroom Production
  6. Digestion of DNA using restriction enzymes and analysis by agarose gel electrophoresis.
  7.  Ligation of DNA fragments
  8.  Isolation of plasmid DNA.
