The course will impart practical skills that will enable them to work in an aseptic microbiology laboratory, identify and isolate microorganisms, and operate fermenters.

3.    Pure culture techniques for isolation of microorganisms

4.    Simple Staining

5.    Negative staining

6.    Differential staining

7.    Identification of Fungi

8.    Study of bacterial Growth curve

9.    Isolation of industrially important microorganisms from natural resources.

10. Study different parts of fermenter

11. Determination of Biomass Yield

12. Determination of TDT of microorganism
