Greetings from CWEI!

CWEI was registered in 1996 as a civil society non-profit organization in New Delhi with a mandate to work in the sub-continent. CWEI is accredited to Govt. of India and is a Member of National Board, Ministry of MSME and is working closely with Ministry of Rural Development to support BPL families in India. We are also the Knowledge Partner to the State Govt., for the sustainable economic empowerment of women SHGs to register as enterprise units, double their income and develop employable skills.

MOHA, 4 Rajiv Gandhi Handicrafts Bhawan, Baba Kharag Singh Marg, Connaught Place, New Delhi 110001, India the marketing and Design center is an initiative to provide retail sales and showcase products for market linkages, product development and design, build alliances and network with other women entrepreneurs globally.

An Entrepreneur is endowed with multitude of challenges to remain competitive and to sustain the business enterprises.  Price competitiveness, human resources, Infrastructure and finance are some of the important issues to be address on the path of business excellence. One of the Vital Ingredients for competitiveness is Innovation. Nurturing Innovation & channelizing Innovation into proprietary assets is one of the growing demands in the market. Innovative product and process is the order of the day.  To protect these innovations, Intellectual property rights is one of the important tools.

As a part of our ongoing camps, CWEI is organizing the Conference on “Intellectual Property Rights, focusing Trademark and GI on 19th September 2014, at Hotel Four Points Sheraton, City square, Tonk road, near Gopal Pura, Jaipur, Rajasthan. The event will be a one day program addressing major Issues of concern - to raise the level of awareness along with protection and enforcement amongst the Clusters, Artisans, Producers group and with the entrepreneurs who are very creative and innovative in their daily livelihood process. Creativity, innovation and product development which are changing with times in these clusters can sustain the competition while protecting them legally. This will also help the GI Clusters to be known globally.
