Course Objectives:
This course will enable the students to –
1. Train students for scientific writing with emphasis on research problems, hypotheses, literature review and research designs
2. To impart an in-depth and thorough training on some specific research problems.
3. To enable the students to address the various real-time challenges prevalent in different areas of biotechnology.
4. The students will gain knowledge of different experimental skills associated with biochemistry, microbiology, molecular genetics, genetic engineering, immunology and bioinformatics.
5. The students acquire experience and knowledge to work in professional setup.

CONTENTS
The dissertation work will involve practical work on a problem suggested by the supervisor of the candidate. The student will submit the dissertation report at the end of III semester.
