Objective: 

Upon completion of the course learners will be able to:

CO 13: Remember and learn good laboratory practices

CO 14: Acquire the ability to explain principle and working of different instruments and analytical techniques.

CO 15: Acquire the ability to apply basics to solution preparation and pH estimation.

CO 16: To analyze and evaluate quantitative estimation of various bio-molecules using spectroscopy

  3. To prepare molar and normal solutions
  4. Verification of Beer’s law
  5. Quantitation of proteins by Biuret assay
  6. Quantitation of carbohydrates by DNS method
  7. Quantitation of cholesterol
  8. Separation of given amino acid mixture by Paper chromatography
  9. Separation of sugars by thin layer chromatography
  10. To study the working of light microscope
