Upon completion of the course students will be able to:

  2. Hemocytometry
  3. Cell viability
  4. Study of viral diseases of plants/animals/human (Specimen/photographs)
  5. Different type of viruses (Photographs/sketches).
  6. Phage titration
  7. Growth Kinetics
  8. Determination of Biomass Yield
  9. Wine Production.
  10. Citric Acid fermentation
  11. Determination of Thermal Death Point
  12. To test the production of enzymes: Amylases, proteases, lipases and cellulases by microorganisms.
  13. Whole Cell immobilization
  14. Isolation and identification of common microorganisms spoiling food (Fungi and bacteria).
  15. Preparation of fermented foods (Saukeraut)
  16. Determination of number of bacteria in milk by Standard plate count
  17. Testing of quality of milk sample MBRT test.
