Objective:
This course will serve to illustrate creative use of modern tools and techniques for analysis of viruses and to expose students to use related techniques in biotechnological research related to vaccine development.
CONTENTS
1. Study of viral diseases of the following (Photographs/sketches):
a. Plants
b. Animals
c. Humans
2. Study of Different types of viruses (Photographs/sketches).
3. Bacteriophage Plaque Assay for Phage Titer.
4. To study the Symptoms of Virus Diseases in Plants.
5. To study the external Symptoms of Virus Diseases in Plants under varied temperature.
