  • Introduction to basic principle and applications: Light microscopy (bright field, dark field, phase contrast and fluorescence microscopy), electron microscopy (TEM and SEM)

  • Principle, factors affecting electrophoresis- pH, voltage, supporting medium (agar, polyacrylamide, dextran), Agarose gel electrophoresis, PAGE, SDS-PAGE, isoelectric focusing
