PLANT AND ANIMAL BIOTECHNOLOGY
- Preparation of media.
- Aseptic techniques in PTC
- Explant inoculation- Leaf, Node.
- Embryo culture
- Raising virus free plants with meristem culture.
- Callus induction
- Protoplast isolation by mechanical and enzymatic method and fusion using PEG.
- Synthetic seed preparation
- Haploid production using anthers and pollen of Datura stromanium.
- Hemocytometry (Cell Count) to check animal cell viability
- Cytotoxicity in animal cell culture
- Monitor and measure doubling time of animal cells.
- Visualization of GFP transfected cells
- Any other practical based on theory syllabus
