Objective: 

This course will enable the students to understand and to promote organic farming in the region through technical capacity building of all stakeholders. The students will be trained to develop skill in both handling, cultivation and propagation of quality microbial inoculants. This will make students ready for industry as entrepreneurs and improve the professional competencies and upgrade the knowledge and develop technical skills of biofertilizer production.

3.    Study of microflora of different types of soils

4.     Isolation of Rhizobium from root nodules and application of rhizobium biofertilizer for   Leguminous crops.

5.    Isolation of Azospirillum from plant roots

6.    Isolation of Azotobacter from soil

7.    Isolation of plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR)

8.    Isolation of Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi (AMF) from soil

9.    Culture and Production of AMF biofertilizers
